IN THE

NEXT GENERATION

We’ve been asking the
wrong question

“How do we reach the next generation?”

I don’t think they want to be reached.
I believe they want to be launched.

They’re looking for:
+ a community to belong to
+ a mission to fight for
+ a mentor to guide them
+ someone to build with

Yet, we often just save them a seat for Sunday.

Instead of inviting them to
Come and follow me,”
we’ve reduced our message to
Come and listen to me.”

It’s not working.

This generation is saturated with content
but starved of connection

MAKE DISCIPLES

MAKE DISCIPLES

We don’t have a
next-gen problem.
We have a
discipleship problem.

We’ve seen enough stats and studies on the next generation. It’s time for solutions.
Instead of focusing on what’s wrong,
this book will guide you in what’s working.

PRACTICAL FRAMEWORKS TO GROW AS A YOUNG LEADER

Next Up is a podcast for young leaders who want to make an impact and are committed to finishing well. Almost every revival has been sparked by hungry, humble young leaders who knew something needed to change. So today the stakes are high and the world needs you at your best. Next Up will give you access to helpful frameworks to better form how you see God, how you view the world, and how you approach God’s mission for your life.

ABOUT GRANT

DISRUPT DIVISION

Grant Skeldon has a passion for uniting diverse and dynamic young leaders to radically reach the next generation.

His multicultural roots, with a Mexican mother and a South African father, have shaped his love for diversity and his drive to connect leaders who might not otherwise cross paths. That same passion extends beyond racial diversity to generational unity, fueled by his own story of being intentionally discipled just two weeks after coming to faith.

Rather than focusing on what’s wrong with young people today, Grant feels called to help the Church learn what’s working among emerging leaders and use those insights to strengthen how we disciple and develop the next generation.

He serves as the Next Gen Director for THINQ with Gabe and Rebekah Lyons. THINQ equips people to think well about the most pressing issues in culture and create conversations that lead to wisdom

His book, The Passion Generation, has helped thousands of pastors and leaders to reach, raise, and retain the next generation.

Grant and his wife, Cheyanne, live in Nashville, Tennessee, where he serves on the preaching team at Way Church—a thriving church plant where hundreds of people are surrendering to Jesus and embracing their calling as missionaries in the city.

“I pray that when I die, all of Hell will rejoice that I am no longer in the fight.”
